Gillian Sales

Managing Director

Gillian has been with Rope Assemblies for more than 20 years and became Managing Director in July 2023. With a background in accounts, Gillian has fully embraced the new challenges associated with being MD and has implemented many changes including a complete rebrand of the company.

Ann McCorkell

Director

Ann joined Rope Assemblies in 2006 as a part time accounts administrator. Since then, she has progressed through the company – moving into Sales and completing LEEA courses to expand her technical knowledge. In July 2023, Ann was invited to become a company director.

Joanne Hopkinson

Sales & Marketing Coordinator

Joanne has been a valuable member of the sales team since joining the company in 2007. Her experience in this role, backed up by her LEEA LAC diploma, means that she is the leader of the sales team and has also taken over responsibility for Rope Assemblies social media accounts and marketing

Paul Deere

Logistics Coordinator

Paul began his journey at Rope Assemblies in 2018, starting off as a storeman. Over time, he transitioned into Sales and later returned to running stores. By the end of 2025, after successfully completing his LEEA LAC diploma, Paul was elevated to the position of Logistics Coordinator, a role that encompasses all his previous experiences.

Rope Assemblies have been manufacturing and supplying bespoke wire and fibre rope assemblies to our customer base worldwide for almost 40 years. Along with a large range of lifting accessories, PPE and more from leading industry brands, we offer technical support and advice. We can supply from stock to meet tight schedules and delivery can be made direct to any site if required.

Experience

Our experienced Sales Team are available to discuss technical issues and, offer safety advice to ensure that all customers receive the best product for their requirements. With custom built pull and drop test beds use daily to ensure that all our assemblies meet the required standards for lifting and suspension, our commitment to quality is reflected in both our ISO9001:2015 accreditation and also our full membership of LEEA.
